1. I am a proud visual-spatial learner. I think and communicate best in pictures rather than in words. I often arrive at solutions intuitively or by my non-sequential, non-linear process so “showing my work” can be a challenge at times. We don’t often get the opportunity to “show our work” to our audiences, guests and users so if a solution isn’t working it should change, no matter how I got there. I produce my best work when this is embraced.
2. I’m a designer by design. Give me a blank piece of paper and a pen and I’ll express myself. As someone who thinks in pictures, words can sometimes be elusive - I’d rather show than tell you what’s happening in my brain. In my free time, I like to draw and paint.
3. I am excellent at managing time. Unlike most visual-spatial learners, procrastination is not my pal. I am at peace when my tasks are completed early and I’ve arrived at my appointments before they start. To-do lists are my ally, being punctual is a pleasure.
4. I am a Type 7 - The Enthusiast - in the Enneagram Sevens love new experiences and learning new things. Central to my personality is having a sense of freedom and happiness. I tend to generate ideas “on the fly,” gravitating towards activities that stimulate my mind and body. I am generally engaged in a multitude of projects at any given time. Given my passion for purposeful hours in the day, more projects means more ideas and more ideas means something different for you. Notable Sevens include Elton John, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs and Betty White.
